The 5th International Conference on Mechanics of Biomaterials and Tissues will take place at the Meliá Sitges Hotel Congress Centre.

Located on the Mediterranean coast, Sitges is just 35km south of Barcelona in the Catalan region of Spain and very easily accessible from Barcelona Airport. The town offers visitors an impressive architectural and cultural heritage together with excellent beaches, restaurants, markets and festivals.

Trains run between the airport and Sitges with one change at El Prat de Llobregat. A taxi will cost around €45-55.

Meliá Sitges Hotel Congress Centre is located on the Mediterranean sea-front and is only a five minute walk from the town centre and train station.
