Barcelona Airport Transfer to Sitges
- By Train: There are no direct trains from Barcelona Airport to Sitges. Therefore, it is necessary to take the C2 RENFE train from Terminal 2 to El Prat de Llobregat which is the first stop after the airport. You can then catch a train to Sitges from this station – approx 40 min. Price approx 3.5€ per person.
If you are arriving at Terminal 1 of Barcelona Airport, there is a free shuttle bus that will take you to the train station which is located 4km away at Terminal 2. See the Barcelona Airport Train article for further details.
Meliá Sitges Hotel Congress Centre is located on the Mediterranean sea-front and is only a five minute walk from the town centre and train station.
- By Coach: There are coaches that run directly from Barcelona Airport to Sitges. The MonBus runs from outside Terminal 1 (T1). Price: 3.60€ per person.
If your flight arrives at T2, you will need to get the free shuttle bus from T2 to T1. Once you are at T1 you will be able to get the coach to Sitges.
The Mon-Bus runs once per hour from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays the bus runs every two hours. On Sundays and Holidays they run four times per day. For details of the times and ticket prices of the Mon Bus check the Mon-Bus Website. Go to the 'Timetable Searcher' and key in 'Aeroport' to 'Sitges'. The times provided will be either for Monday - Friday, Saturdays, Sundays or Night time.
- By Taxi: The distance from Barcelona Airport to Sitges is approximately 20 km. This will take about 30 minutes in a taxi, costing around €65.00.
Tip: Have your exact destination (hotel address, etc.) written clearly on a sheet of paper. Hand this to your driver before you depart toward Sitges.
